This is meet up ride for 40 miles following much of the route of the metric ride at the beginning and end.

This route starts at Southern High School, and visits the Pindell's and bounces off the Patuxent River in Lower Marlboro. At Owings, the route heads to Chesapeake Beach and rejoins the route of the metric ride. Next rest stop is Chesapeake Market and Deli in Herrington Harbor at mile 25 before the long slough via the Sudleys back to Southern...and maybe a late lunch at UR Burger in Edgewater.

RidewithGPS 40 mile route. You can even take a shortcut and bypass the beach roads and ride about 35 miles via Boyds Turn Road at mile 20.

This route sells off Anne Arundel & Calvert counties for the ABC Tour of Maryland.
