SUNDAY WILL BE A RAIN DATE IF SATURDAY IS A NO-GO - Cancelled as well.
The Lifeline ride is one that is supported heavily by ABC volunteers manning the four major rest stops. One week before the actual event, ABC will be riding both the century and metric courses. We will start at Ridgeway Elementary School in Severn, MD rather than Kinder Farm Park but other than that, we'll use the official Lifeline courses.
The 100 mile ride will begin at 7am and the metric 100KM ride will begin at 8am.
Century Route
Century Ride Leader: John Tyrrell
Metric Route
Metric Ride Leader: Ron Hill (as of 9/17/23)
NEW ! Please add your sign up comments here.
Purposes of the ride are to have a good time but also review the route for hazards like potholes, significant debris, or anything that needs to be addressed.
Route markings are in place outside of the Annapolis area and the route markings will be completed in town closer to the day of the event.
Jim Miner has offered to provide Rest Stop/SAG support. ABC will furnish drinks and snacks.
Thanks!
John Tyrrell
Request - We have 170 members in the club and need some of you to suggest rides and routes occasionally. You don't have to lead, just suggest. Who can help out ???
Send your suggestions to rides@annapolisbicycleclub.org for any day, any starting point, any distance, any speed, any course. They can refine it from there.
Am looking for additional Ride Coordinators as well. THANKS, John T
