This ride checks off Caroline and Dorchester counties for those working on completing the Tour of Maryland.

This ride starts at 9 AM right on the border of Caroline and Dorchester counties at the Federalsburg Marina and Recreation Park, 2012 Federalsburg Hwy.

Pace: 14 mph, although riders are welcome to download the route and ride at their own pace. The route is 50.6 miles and quite flat! (only 637 ft of ascent and the steepest grade is 1.7%). It follows back roads, so there should not be much traffic.

Rest stop: At mile 19 in Preston there is a Valero gas station and a convenience store (a couple of blocks beyond the route). At mile 28 we will pass the Suicide Bridge restaurant, where we can fill up on water. Bring enough snacks to get you through the ride in case we do not pass convenience stores.
