Southern High 50 - 17-18 mph & 15-16 mph

Southern High School 50 miles

Starting location:  Southern High School

Route:  ABC SHS 50

The route rolls through the Pindells, then down to Owings via Chesapeake Beach Rd and Route 2, and back north via Chesapeake Beach and North Beach.

Rest stop at the usual Chesapeake Market & Deli at mile 34.4.  We'll regroup as necessary, but I've found we're faster overall if we keep a pace that everyone in the group can handle.

Weather:  Looks like it'll be about 50 degrees at 8:30, and nearly 70 at noon.  How do you dress for that?  Mild wind and low chance of rain, though.

Ride leader:  RJ Marquette (17-18 mph). 

15-16 mph ride leader TBD, please offer if you’d like to lead this group

Route changes:  If you have a concern about the route, please let RJ know no later than Friday evening, so that he can address it, and everyone will have the updated route in their computers Saturday.  We'll only change the route Saturday for serious issues - mechanical issues, medical, weather, road construction, etc.
