Join us for the evening south county ride on Tuesdays in the spring, summer, and fall.
Note this tends to be a faster ride - 18-19 mph average speeds are normal. We sometimes have a slower group, but that is not guaranteed. Please contact RJ if you're wondering about a slower group for a specific week.
Starting point: START AT Sands Road Park.
Departure time: 5:30 PM
Route: Bill's 26 mile route
There are options for shorter routes or slower rides - please let RJ know if you're interested in one of these.
We'll regroup at the 7-11 gas station at the intersection of Harwood Road and Route 2.
Ride leaders:
Faster ride, 17-19 mph: RJ Marquette. Register to let the ride leader know you plan to attend and receive weather updates & cancellations.
Slower pace/shorter ride: We are still looking for a ride leader for people who are looking for a slower or shorter ride. Please email rides@annapolisbicycleclub.org if you'd like to help!
Inclement weather: We'll do our best to make a go/no-go decision around 4:15 p.m., based on the rain and thunderstorm outlook during the riding hours. RJ uses this weather forecast along with radar from Windy. We generally do NOT cancel because of heat alone, but we will ease up on the pace, if necessary.
Route changes: To avoid confusion, we will only adjust the route due to serious issues, such as road closures, inclement weather, mechanical issues, and similar emergencies.
